About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic teammate to join our highly supportive and collaborative Country HR Team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to grow both professionally and personally while acting as a strategic partner to our leaders and become an ambassador for our unique culture.
This is a 2 years fixed-term contract role with the possibility for extension and future growth in the team and company.

As a Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Partner, you will manage the full lifecycle of recruitment and shape the integration journey of our new teammates, ensuring they have an exceptional start at Decathlon. 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Advise and consult hiring managers on ideal candidate profiles, effective sourcing strategies, and comprehensive job briefings. 
  • Recruitment Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, guaranteeing a fair, inclusive, and transparent experience for all candidates. Onboarding Excellence: Champion the National Onboarding Framework, overseeing the new-hire integration timeline and tracking key milestones throughout their first 12 months.
  • Global Systems & Frameworks: Guarantee the proper use of global frameworks and our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track hiring stages and coordinate structured, data-driven interviews. 
  • Employer Branding & Culture: Act as a proud talent ambassador, actively promoting Decathlon's unique culture, values, and purpose both internally and externally. 
  • Talent Pipeline Building: Build and activate strong talent pools for strategic roles and engage with local schools and universities to develop early-career pipelines.

What We Are Looking For (Your Profile):

  • Passion: You are deeply passionate about sports and, above all, passionate about people. 
  • Education: You hold a relevant University degree (e.g., Human Resources, Business Management, Economics, Sociology, or Psychology). 
  • Language Skills: Professional fluency in English (minimum B2 level). 
  • Communication & Influence: You are a strong communicator and collaborator, excelling in persuasive communication, stakeholder influence, and critical thinking. Recruitment Track Record: You have proven experience in recruitment, showcasing an exceptional ability to detect strong personalities, unique talents, and cultural fit. 
  • Onboarding Skills: You possess solid onboarding skills and a thorough understanding of employee integration processes. 
  • Leadership Style: You are an inclusive leader with high emotional intelligence who leads by example and invests daily in developing others. 
  • Growth Mindset: You are adaptive, creative, love dynamic changes, and strongly believe that feedback is essential for your continuous growth.
