As an Events & partnerships leader you will be responsible for creating opportunities for sports enthusiasts all over Bulgaria to connect and build memorable experiences with DECATHLON while practicing their favorite sports.
Your mission is to organize and manage the presence of DECATHLON at sports events and build lasting partnerships with institutions and various stakeholders, thereby building the value of the brand and bringing traffic to our stores.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement Events & partnerships country strategy & plan
Initiate and lead the end-to-end organization of large scale sports events & partnerships
Collaborate closely with marketing, retail & commercial teams to align events & partnerships activations with overall business goals and maximize value creation
Provide functional leadership to the team of events coordinators across the country
Communicate and build long-lasting partnerships with government institutions, NGOs, sports events organizers, agencies, etc.
Manage events & partnerships budget
Guarantee high-quality, consistent DECATHLON brand experience at events all over the country
Support & development of DECATHLON Play platform
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE should have:
2 to 5 years experience in events management. Experience in sports marketing is a strong advantage.
Strong communication skills, agility and adaptability to manage the demands of events management
Proactive, hands-on approach and doer mindset
Knowledge of sports enthusiasts needs & preferences
Good project management skills
Cross-functional collaboration skills
