Are you ready to move people through the wonders of sport on a massive scale? We are seeking a visionary Country Digital Commerce Director to drive digital growth, profitability, and innovation within our local markets. In this role, you will align local commercial policies with global strategies , transform the omnichannel customer journey , and scale next-generation business models like marketplaces, retail media, and circularity.
As a key bridge between the local market and Decathlon’s centralized digital commerce and product teams , you will turn market-specific insights into action while leading a high-performing local team to success.
Human Capital & Leadership: Lead, recruit, and onboard complementary talents. Foster an environment of well-being, responsibility, autonomy, and open dialogue across all stakeholders.
Strategy & Financial Excellence: Own the local digital commerce P&L. Develop and execute a digital commerce strategy aligned with global frameworks and sustainability commitments.
Customer Experience Optimization: Enhance the online customer journey across all digital touchpoints (website, mobile app, external platforms). Ensure absolute consistency between 1P and 3P offerings.
Business Performance & Logistics: Drive key performance indicators such as GMV, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value (CLV). Partner with supply chain and logistics to optimize last-mile delivery and fulfillment.
Omnichannel Integration: Collaborate tightly with in-store teams to create a unified and sustainable online-offline customer experience (e.g., Click & Collect, connected ordering).
Global Synergy: Act as the primary liaison to the Zone and Core teams , sharing best practices, providing data-driven inputs, and adapting global business models to your local context.
Prerequisite Experience & Knowledge:
2 year experience in Digital Commerce or Digital Marketing. Mandatory experience in team management.
Strong commercial skills, customer experience optimization expertise, omnichannel retailing knowledge, and sharp financial acumen.
Fluency in English.
