Here, your role is vital to the "team's" success. Your responsibilities include:
1. Accuracy Champion (Ensure Reliable Accounting):
- Record, control, and report transactions in your area with precision.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of overdue items.
- Contribute to monthly and annual closings and support audit documentation.
- Apply group and local accounting standards (IFRS/HGB) like a true pro.
2. Process Architect (Improve the Processes):
- Be the driver of change – actively design and implement process improvements for better efficiency and automation.
- Organize and secure the KPIs of your specific sub-processes.
3. Strategic Partner (Be an Accounting Value Partner):
- Be the team's "radar" – identify business risks and suggest mitigating controls.
- Consult stakeholders and bring transparency to financial figures to help the business make the right decisions.
